It's a Joyful Journey!

ABA Therapy Training on Evidence -Based Care For Your Child

At Joyful Journeys, we know it’s hard being a parent of a child with developmental challenges, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders, which is why we’ve made it our mission to train caregivers and equip them with practical, evidence-based strategies to support their child.

Our 8-week Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) training program is designed to transform caregivers from feeling overwhelmed and uncertain to becoming confident, skilled intervention partners.

Why Joyful Journeys?

Our training programs are designed to fit your wallet and schedule, and empower you with essential skills.

Here’s why families and professionals choose us:

Comprehensive Developmental Support

We address multiple developmental domains simultaneously, including communication, social skills, academic learning, self-care, and problematic behaviours.

This holistic approach ensures children receive integrated support across different life areas.

Individualized Interventions

Joyful Journeys provides highly personalized interventions tailored to each child’s specific developmental needs, behavioral challenges, and learning style.

We create customized strategies that evolve with the child’s progress and emerging skills.

Accessible and
Affordable

Our training programs are designed to fit your wallet and schedule and empower you with essential skills.

The costs for our 8-week training program start from KES 60,000 and include a pre-class assessment, 16 hours of in-person training, weekly check-ins and individualized treatment plans.

Practical Skills that improve quality of life

We focus on teaching functional, real-world skills that enhance daily living, communication, social interaction, and independence.

We go beyond theoretical interventions by directly teaching practical abilities that improve the family and child’s quality of life and future opportunities.

Mission meets action

About Diana Ayoo

Diana Ayoo is a certified behavior analyst under the QABA (Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis) and IBAO (International Behavior Analysis Organization) certification boards.

She is also a mother to a neurodivergent child and the owner of Ayira’s Café, a restaurant that employs adults with neurodivergent conditions.

Her personal experience witnessing the transformative power of ABA therapy on her own child inspired her to pursue certification and dedicate her career to helping other families facing similar challenges.

In Kenya, however, there is a significant shortage of behavior analysts due to the lack of formal programs offering Applied Behavior Analysis education.

This shortage limits access to ABA therapy for neurodivergent children, further compounded by a lack of understanding from health practitioners and insurance companies, making support and recommendations for ABA therapy more difficult to obtain.
